Position: Bioinformatician
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced or fresher Bioinformatician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large-scale biological data, developing custom bioinformatics pipelines, and collaborating with researchers to understand their bioinformatics needs.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze high-throughput sequencing data (e.g., RNA-seq, whole-genome sequencing).
•Develop and implement custom bioinformatics pipelines using programming languages (Python, R, Perl).
•Apply bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., BLAST, Bowtie, SAMtools, GenBank).
•Stay up-to-date with new bioinformatics tools, methodologies, and technologies.
Requirements:
•Master’s in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related field.
•2+ years or fresher in bioinformatics.
•Strong understanding of molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics principles.
•Experience with bioinformatics software and databases (e.g., Illumina, Pac).
